Seminar Abstract:


A comprehensive dive into the identification of various types of ulcerative keratitis in small animals, their causes, and treatment. The second half of the presentation will cover true ocular emergencies and how to recognize when immediate treatment is needed and how to manage the case to optimize a favorable prognosis. Both topics will have numerous photo examples of the condition to illustrate the variations in the presentation.


Speaker Biography:


Dr. Kelli Combs Ramey has practiced in Calgary since February of 2011, providing a wide range of veterinary ophthalmology services. She is thrilled to bring this passion and experience to a stand-alone ophthalmology specialty clinic and continue to improve the lives of animals and their families. Her special interests include surgical management of ulcerative corneal diseases and cataract surgery.
