All wet labs for remainder of this year will be in person.
The lecture for All About the Abdomen will be available for in-person attendance!
Unfortunately, due to travel restrictions, our Behaviour seminar will be delivered on Zoom from 9 am - 12:10 pm on two separate dates:
Sunday, October 10 & another Sunday, tba. |

Because the AbVMA Canwest conference has been scheduled for the same weekend as our originally scheduled Behaviour seminar, we are trying to change the Oct 17 date!
The formal announcement will be emailed to our website users once the dates have been confirmed!

Cadavers available for training
Thank you to those clinics who are participating in collecting pet body donations for EASAV through Part of the Family! Did you know? We share our excess cadavers with NAITs Animal Health & the U of C Veterinary Medicine Programs!
If you are an EASAV member in need of a dog or cat cadaver to practice a new procedure on or train your staff, email Smokey at info@easav.ca
or call (780) 970-3728. Cadavers are free to EASAV members and their staff!
Reminder: Donations are limited to cats and dogs 25 kg and under!

We recently received a letter of thanks from a member of the public regarding the EPS Animal Cruelty Investigation Unit. This unit received support and continued funding in part because of the petition that EASAV & Dr. Natasha Russell organized last year.
"I recently had a very positive and rewarding experience with the ACIU in relation to a complaint of animal cruelty and would like to share this success story with you."

EASAV Voting/Associate, CAVM members, retired members & their spouses are invited to do some backcountry camping with fellow members and some of the EASAV Peer support group at Y-Knott Ranch in Drayton Valley!

Activities will include an equine team building activity, campfire sing-a-long, group bbq supper & brunch, yoga, hiking, fishing and games.
