This 2- hour talk will look into the published data around raw food feeding. Peer reviewed data will be utilized to help guide clinicians and clients as to whether feeding raw food is appropriate.

Daniel Joffe, DVM, DABVP
Dr. Danny Joffe graduated from the WCVM (with Great Distinction) in 1985 and completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at the Cornell University in 1985-86. Dr. Joffe entered private practice and opened the Landing Animal Clinic in Calgary in 1989, practicing there until 2020. He was a founding partner of the Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency Centre and was the Medical Director at this 22-doctor facility until the fall of 2020. Danny became the National Medical Director for VCA Canada in 2012.
He completed his board certification by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (Canine/Feline Specialty) in 1992, becoming the first practicing veterinary specialist in Alberta. He has recertified this specialty via examination in 2000 and 2010 and was recently granted Emeritus status by this specialty group. Dr. Joffe is a Past President of both the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association and the Canadian Academy of Veterinary Dermatology and is a Clinical Instructor at the University of Calgary Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
