NEW WEBSITE HOST
We have found a replacement website host and all files and pictures will be reloaded over the summer months. Your patience during this transition is appreciated. If you find something missing on the site, please let me know!

Survey: EASAV recently met with the City of Edmonton's Animal Care & Control Centre about a new program they would like to implement to encourage Edmontonians to license, microchip and sterilize their pets. A survey with details about this proposal and collegiality preferences will be sent to EASAV members only over the summer months. If you would like your voice heard about these topics, please sign up or renew your membership today!

EASAV Annual BBQ at U of A Botanic Gardens

EASAV members, staff and their families enjoyed a lovely afternoon exploring the gardens at the U of A Botanic Gardens (formally known as the Devonian Botanic Gardens). The event was deliciously catered by Perk's Coffee House.

We would like to thank our BBQ sponsors, who covered the entire cost of all admissions and food:Royal Canin, WDDC, Royal Bank of Canada and Steve  Kim with RBC Dominion Securities!

Events in Review

Dr. Milton Ness Memorial Teddy Bear Hospital

This year's Teddy Bear Hospital event was hosted very close to the entrance of the  zoo which allowed for many more families to visit our site!

We have been told by the Zoo staff that the Dr. Milton Ness Memorial Teddy Bear Hospital is now the most popular and busiest site at the zoo for Dreamnight!

The Uncas Veterinary Clinic has graciously offered to handle the Adoption Centre and Stuffed Animal Donations for next year's event. If you would like to maintain an ongoing drive at your clinic for next year's event, we ask that you deliver all  donations of new and
very gently  used stuffies to the Uncas Veterinary Clinic. If you require assistance delivering stuffies, please let Smokey know.

EASAV would like to graciously thank all of the volunteers who made this event so enjoyable for the families who attended.
