2017-18 NEW EXECUTIVE TEAM
I am happy to introduce you all to the new 2017/2018 Executive Team!
The board has created some new director positions: A Collegiality Director and Chairperson. You will notice that our Collegiality Chair is the same as our VP. Thank you Natasha for filling this additional new role and welcome Cheryl and Nour, to the EASAV Executive Team!

Important: EASAV NOW TO CHARGE GST
The Edmonton Association of Small Animal Veterinarians is a not-for-profit Private Business, not a charitable organization. As such, as of May 1, EASAV will begin charging GST to all CE Events, as mandated by CRA.
GST will not be applicable to membership fees.

WEBSITE OFFLINE
Some of you may have noticed that our website was offline for 1 week's time last month. Our server was hacked, which caused the loss of all of our documents, files and pictures. Please be patient while we upload the files and pictures that were lost. This may take the course of the summer to complete. We are still searching for the most suitable replacement web host. The website may be down during the wee hours of the morning from time to time until one has been found.

	Dr. Milton Ness Memorial Teddy Bear Hospital at Dreamnight at the Zoo Location: Edmonton Valley Zoo Date: Friday, June 2, 2017 Time: 6: 30 - 10:00 pm Last year, we donated over 700 stuffed animals! A lot of these stuffies had been collected in previous years and our stock is very low. Stuffed Animal Drive We are asking our veterinary clinics to help us collect teddy bears or money to help with the purchase of stuffed animals for this year's event! Thanks to previous years' donations, we have plenty of supplies left for the hospital itself. This year, we only need teddy bears! If you do not have the time to participate in organizing your own teddy bear drive, please consider making a donation on behalf of your clinic. EASAV will be spending up to $1000 towards the purchase of stuffed animals.

Upcoming Dinners with the Experts

Join an expert for an exclusive EASAV Member dinner; RSVPs accepted on a first come, first served basis. Locations will be revealed to those who RSVP.
Members must pay for their own meals.
Each dinner is now limited to 6 EASAV Members/attendants, including Executive Volunteers.
