Granville Veterinary Clinic is a privately owned small animal clinic (dogs & cats only) located in west side Edmonton. The practice is open Mon-Fri (8 am - 6 pm) & Sat (9 am- 2 pm). We're closed Sundays/Stat Holidays. We offer DR digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, full in-house IDEXX lab & Cornerstone software.

We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic team player to join our staff as an RVT! Our current staff has 2 associate veterinarians (& 2 locum veterinarians), 3 technicians and 3 receptionists. Our mission at Granville is to offer exceptional medical care to our patients - while still maintaining a healthy work/life balance for all staff. We are a close group of people who share the mindset that we should enjoy coming into work, and like to have fun while being here.

As an RVT on our team, you will be integral in providing high quality care to our patients & clients. We pride ourselves in our ability to create & maintain relationships with all of our clients. We book no appointments for less than 30 minutes, and give an hour to medical appointments, and even new puppy/kitten visits!

Ideally the position would be full time, but we're open to conversation. Shifts would be 8 hours with a Saturday rotation (normally one Saturday per month).

Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians in performing examinations and procedures on animals.
  • Perform anesthesia for routine spays/neuters, soft tissue surgery & dentals
  • Perform dental cleanings & charting
  • Performing radiographs (whole body & dental)
  • Prepare and maintain laboratory samples for testing, ensuring accurate results.
  • Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the veterinarian.
  • Monitor animal health and behavior, reporting any changes to the veterinary team.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the veterinary clinic and equipment.
  • Educate pet owners on proper animal care and health practices.

Job Summary
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving customer inquiries, and promoting company products and services.   This is an in house position (not virtual).

Duties
- Answer incoming calls from veterinary hospitals.
- Respond to emails promptly and professionally (as a primary source of communication)
- Assist customers with product information, pricing, and availability
- Process orders, product returns efficiently and accurately
- Working knowledge of Agent call center
- Maintain accurate customer records and product order information
- Analyze customer feedback to improve service quality
- Setting up virtual share meetings to educate and train staff members on anything related to the functionality of WDDC website, performing returns, special orders or requests.

Qualifications
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Resourceful, responsive and reliable
- Proficiency in English required
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail. Microsoft products used (outlook; excel & word)
- Previous experience in customer service or in a veterinary hospital would be preferred
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Job Type:             Full-time 40 hours per week. This is an in person position (not virtual).  
        Monday – Thursday 9:30am – 6pm  &  Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm

Pay:                     From $20.00 per hour starting
